We offer courses in Stained
Glass and Fused Glass
What will I need?
Nothing but yourself, a sturdy pair of shoes (no open toes!) and perhaps a couple of
simple designs or ideas to work with - or you can use our books for inspiration.
Tools, materials and safety equipment are provided by us. The only
extra cost being for any coloured stained glass you require for your own project. Not
essential, but we find that most students buy their own oil filled glass cutter which
makes easy work of cutting glass.
All refreshments are provided, together with a light sandwich lunch
on weekend courses.
Where are they taught?
The courses will be delivered in one of the best equipped glass studio in the Edinburgh
area, down beside Ocean Terminal. The class is taught by Hamish Dick who has over 25 years
teaching experience having previously worked in the Glass Department at Edinburgh’s
Telford College.
